Business Development Representative – Real Estate & Construction
The Role
We're looking for a hungry, organized, and persistent Business Development Representative to be the front line of our outreach operation. You'll work directly with our founder to identify opportunities, reach the right people, and get them to the table.
This is not a passive role. You'll be making calls, sending emails, doing research, and following up relentlessly until you get a response. The right person for this job gets energized by the chase, and doesn't stop at the first "no."
No prior real estate experience required. We will train you on the industry, the tools, and exactly who we're targeting. What we need from you is professionalism, persistence, and the ability to communicate clearly in English.
What You'll Do
- Outbound prospecting, cold call and email architects, general contractors, real estate developers, and wholesalers daily
- Lead list management, work through structured lists (e.g., Construction Wire, public records, tax deed databases) to identify and qualify targets
- Company research, dig into target companies to understand their project pipeline, key contacts, and decision-makers before outreach
- Follow-up sequences, nurture leads persistently across multiple touchpoints (calls + emails) until engagement is secured
- Appointment setting, book discovery calls and meetings for the founder with qualified prospects
- Existing lead reactivation, re-engage dormant contacts and past conversations
- Intel gathering, identify upcoming multifamily and residential construction projects in Florida markets
- CRM management, log all activity, notes, and next steps accurately so nothing falls through the cracks
Who You Are
- Persistent, you follow up 5, 6, 7 times if needed. You understand that the deal is often in the follow-up
- Organized, you manage multiple contacts and conversations at once without dropping the ball
- Clear communicator, your written and spoken English is professional and confident
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) strongly preferred, many contacts in Florida's construction market are Spanish-speaking
- Coachable, you take direction, implement feedback fast, and improve every week
- Self-starter, you're remote and you hit your daily targets without someone checking in every hour
- Experience in sales, outreach, customer service, or any client-facing role is a plus, not required
