Responsibilities:
Collaborate with project managers and team members to understand translation needs and objectives.
Translate written materials from one language to another, ensuring accuracy and maintaining context.
Adapt and localize content to reflect cultural nuances, idioms, and expressions.
Proofread and edit translated materials to ensure quality and consistency.
Research terminology and industry-specific jargon to ensure accurate translations.
Utilize translation software and tools to streamline and optimize translation processes.
Manage and organize translation projects and files in an efficient manner.
Adhere to deadlines and manage multiple translation projects simultaneously.
Stay updated on language trends, industry terminology, and emerging linguistic techniques.
Contribute to the development and maintenance of translation guidelines and standards.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Translation, Linguistics, or a related field (Master's degree or relevant certifications preferred).
Strong written and verbal communication skills in both English and Spanish.
Proficiency in at least two languages, including native-level fluency in one language and advanced proficiency in the other.
Previous experience in translation, localization, or related roles is a plus.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a remote team environment.
Keen attention to detail and a commitment to delivering accurate and culturally appropriate translations.
Strong research skills and the ability to quickly understand and adapt to various topics.
Organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple translation projects simultaneously.
Positive attitude, team player, and a willingness to take initiative.
