Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm (Flexible)

Job Summary:
We are currently seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Tax Specialist to join our team in Latin America. If you have a solid understanding of tax regulations, attention to detail, and a commitment to providing accurate and timely tax support, we encourage you to apply.

Responsibilities:
  • Assist in preparing and reviewing individual, corporate, and partnership tax returns, ensuring compliance with relevant tax laws and regulations.
  • Conduct tax research and analysis on complex tax issues, staying up-to-date on changes in tax laws and regulations.
  • Collaborate with tax professionals to optimize clients' tax positions and identify potential deductions, credits, and savings.
  • Communicate effectively with clients to gather necessary financial information and documentation for tax reporting.
  • Assist in responding to client inquiries regarding tax matters, explaining tax concepts, requirements, and implications.
  • Contribute to the preparation of financial statements and reports for tax-related purposes.
  • Maintain organized and accurate tax records and documentation.
  • Participate in tax audits and inquiries, supporting the resolution of tax-related matters.
  • Stay informed about industry trends and developments to enhance tax-related services.

Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail, with the ability to interpret and apply complex tax regulations.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both English and Spanish.
  • Proficiency in tax software, accounting software, and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Previous experience in tax preparation, tax analysis, or related roles is a plus.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a remote team environment.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and a client-oriented attitude.
  • Ethical and trustworthy with a commitment to maintaining client confidentiality.
  • Flexibility to adapt to evolving tax laws and regulations.
