Job Summary: We are currently seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Sound Editor to join our team in Latin America. If you have a passion for audio production, a keen ear for sound quality, and are dedicated to enhancing audio content, we encourage you to apply.
Responsibilities:
Collaborate with content creators and team members to understand project objectives and audio requirements.
Edit and manipulate audio recordings to enhance sound quality, clarity, and overall production value.
Remove background noise, adjust volume levels, and apply effects to achieve desired audio results.
Mix and synchronize audio tracks with visual elements to ensure seamless integration.
Work with a variety of audio formats, such as voiceovers, music, sound effects, and dialogue.
Organize and manage audio files and assets in an efficient and organized manner.
Incorporate feedback and revisions to audio edits based on project needs and client input.
Stay updated on audio production techniques, industry trends, and emerging technologies.
Contribute to the development and maintenance of audio production guidelines and standards.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Audio Production, Sound Engineering, or a related field (Master's degree or relevant certifications preferred).
Strong portfolio showcasing a range of audio editing and production work.
Proficiency in audio editing software such as Pro Tools, Adobe Audition, Logic Pro, or similar tools.
Previous experience in sound editing, audio production, or related roles is a plus.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a remote team environment.
Keen attention to detail and a discerning ear for sound quality and nuances.
Creative thinking and the ability to enhance audio content to meet project objectives.
Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Positive attitude, team player, and a willingness to adapt to creative direction.
