Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled and adaptable Floor Plan Specialist to join our remote team in Latin America. Responsibilities:
Collaborate with architects, interior designers, and team members to understand design objectives and spatial requirements.
Create accurate and detailed floor plans, layout designs, and technical drawings.
Incorporate design principles, spatial relationships, and ergonomic considerations into floor plan designs.
Assist in the development of schematic designs, construction documents, and space planning.
Generate 2D and 3D floor plan renderings and visualizations to communicate design concepts.
Adapt and optimize floor plans based on feedback, client preferences, and project needs.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure design compatibility and coordination.
Stay updated on design software updates, industry standards, and emerging spatial design trends.
Adhere to deadlines and manage multiple floor plan projects simultaneously.
Contribute to the development and maintenance of design guidelines and standards.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Interior Design, or a related field.
Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, or similar tools.
Previous experience in floor plan design, spatial planning, or related roles is preferred.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a remote team environment.
Strong spatial design skills with an eye for layout optimization and functionality.
Strong understanding of design principles, spatial relationships, and ergonomic considerations.
Creative thinking and the ability to visualize and translate design concepts into floor plans.
Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
Organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple floor plan projects simultaneously.
