Job Summary: We are looking for a detail-oriented and experienced Bookkeeper to join our team. As a Bookkeeper, you will be responsible for recording and maintaining the company's daily financial transactions, generating financial reports, and assisting with various financial tasks. The ideal candidate should have a university degree in a relevant field and a strong background as a professional bookkeeper. Proficiency in using software programs like QuickBooks and remote collaboration tools such as Google Office or Microsoft Office is essential. Excellent English language skills are required to ensure effective communication within the team and with external stakeholders.
Responsibilities:
Record and maintain the company's daily financial transactions, ensuring accurate posting to respective accounts.
Process payments accurately and promptly, adhering to financial policies and maintaining proper documentation.
Conduct daily banking activities, including reconciling transactions with bank statements.
Prepare a variety of financial reports, such as profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements, to support managerial decision-making.
Assist with payroll processing, ensuring accuracy and compliance with relevant regulations.
Manage debt collection efforts and maintain accurate records of collections.
Generate and issue invoices for products/services provided, ensuring timely delivery to clients/customers.
Handle vendor and supplier payments, maintaining accurate records and reconciling accounts.
Reconcile financial reports with third-party records, such as bank statements, to identify and resolve discrepancies promptly.
Stay updated with industry best practices, regulations, and trends related to bookkeeping.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
Proven experience as a professional bookkeeper, showcasing strong financial transaction management skills.
In-depth knowledge of bookkeeping principles, practices, and procedures.
Proficiency in using QuickBooks and other relevant accounting software.
Experience working with remote collaboration tools, such as Google Office or Microsoft Office suite.
Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with keen attention to detail. Ability to manage multiple tasks independently and meet deadlines effectively.
Demonstrated organizational skills and ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive financial information.
Familiarity with applicable financial regulations and compliance standards.
Willingness to adapt to a flexible work schedule and thrive in a dynamic environment.
